2-6 Installing and Conﬁguring the Adapter

Conﬁguring the EtherPaC 2000+ Adapter

You use the

Setup

program to conﬁgure the adapter. The program is

on the ETHERPAC UTILITY AND DRIVERS disk.

You can copy the program to a new DIAG directory on the hard disk

C: drive or you can run it from the ﬂoppy.

Automatic conﬁguration

To conﬁgure the adapter, you run

Auto Conﬁguration

and let the Setup

program automatically set the adapter’s parameters to default values.

With two or three cards in the PC

If you have one or two additional cards in the PC with parameters that

conﬂict with the EtherPaC’s default parameters, you run

Set Conﬁgu-

ration

which lets you change the values in the adapter’s conﬁguration

to non-default values.
